IDAKA Factory Coordination
IDAKA’s core business involves “trading”, where we purchase products that customers are looking for from manufacturers, and then sell them to customers.
However, there is much more to it than simply distributing products from manufacturers to customers. What we specialize in is finding the best product from the best manufacturer from approximately 12 million products produced by around 2,800 companies so that we can provide the products that meet customers’ needs exactly both quickly and economically.
Very often, customers are not looking for just a single product, but for all equipment necessary to build an entire production line. At IDAKA, we handle all factory equipment, from large machines to conveyance equipment, and even the jigs and tools necessary for work. We narrow down the necessary manufacturers and combine equipment from different manufacturers to come up with the optimum solutions to fit our customers’ requirements.
We also leverage the experience and track record we’ve cultivated over many years, as well as the knowledge we’ve gained through this, and our inquiring minds to also provide customers with support from the project concept stage. What kind of machines are necessary to meet vague customer requirements such as, “We want to make something like this.”, or “We want to handle products like this.”? What is the best operation route to manufacture products efficiently? How should workers be deployed? What kind of tools will be used, and how will parts and products be conveyed around the factory? In response to questions like these, we develop various hypotheses, narrow down the best manufacturers and products, and then present our proposal to the customer.
IDAKA’s business covers an extensive business area, from “trading”, where we find equipment to meet customers’ requirements, to “coordination” to ensure that the customer has all the pieces in place to achieve exactly what they want to do.
